Hogs and Heifers Saloon is a Bar located in New York City opened in 1992 created by Allan Dell and his two friends, a carpenter and a graphic design artist. He knew that he wanted a bar that had something to do with motorcycles and women, but the name just wouldn't come to him. The only thing he could come up with was Hog for the motorcycle. Then, one day in their favorite bar, a sign for a heifer auction came across their eyes. That is when the name struck him: "Hogs and Heifers." It just happened that later the bar opened up in a meat market because of rental pricing, but the name was a perfect fit.
